Boarding at Mayfair Animal Hospital

black dog outside fenced area with frisbee in mouthMayfair Animal Hospital offers a comfortable, climate-controlled facility for boarding your dog or cat. The mission of our kennel team is to treat your beloved pet with the same loving care as they do their own pets.

Boarding Policies

For your pet’s protection all animals that board must be current on vaccinations and free of internal and external parasites. Dogs are required to be current on their distemper/parvo, rabies and bordetella vaccine as well as have had a negative fecal float examination within the 12 months prior to boarding. Cats are required to be current on their distemper and rabies vaccines.  Both dogs and cats must have no evidence of fleas.

If your pet received vaccines/medical care at another facility, please have the records forwarded to us prior to dropping off for boarding if possible. Our client services team would be happy to assist you in requesting your pet’s medical records from another facility. All medications to be administered to pets while boarding must be in the original packaging (i.e. prescription vial with appropriate label).

Boarding For Our Canine Guests

In our canine boarding facility, we offer a variety of individual kennels and runs for different sizes of dogs including extra-large runs for sibling pets to stay together.  Our canine guests are given lots of love and attention and taken for walks at least three times daily in our spacious, fenced, outdoor play area. Vet tech holding hand out for white cat to eat in crate

Boarding For Our Feline Guests

In our feline lounge, every cat is given their own private window with a comfortable bed and view of the outside including a bird feeder.  To decrease stress for our cat boarders, the feline lounge is in an area separate from our canine boarders.
