Bio

I grew up in a military family, which meant constant relocations and the opportunity to experience new and diverse environments. This upbringing has greatly influenced my personal development and shaped the person I am today. Throughout my travels, I encountered various animals that captured my heart, fostering a deep love and connection with them. Initially, my affinity was with cats, but over time, my passion for animals expanded to encompass all creatures under the sun. From a young age, I was driven to understand and assist animals, a passion that has guided my path to where I am today.

In 2019, I graduated Cum Laude from Clemson University, having pursued a degree in Animal and Veterinary Sciences and a minor in Biological Sciences. Subsequently, I obtained my DVM degree from the prestigious NC State College of Veterinary Medicine. Throughout my academic journey, I developed a keen interest in several areas, including behavioral medicine, soft tissue surgery, exotic animal medicine, and client communication.

Creating lasting connections with individuals and their cherished pets brings me immense joy. Guiding and educating pet owners on proper care techniques for their furry companions is rewarding as well. I place great importance on clear communication, ensuring positive experiences for both the owners and their pets. My goal is to contribute to the well-being and happiness of each patient I encounter. I am delighted to join this exceptional team, where I can practice fear-free medicine alongside brilliant colleagues.

When I’m not caring for animals, I love to travel and attend concerts. I can also be found drawing cartoons, reading, baking cookies, and even skateboarding, which may come as a surprise to some.

Currently, I reside in Morrisville with my partner with two dogs named Polo and Benjie, a hedgehog named Mordecai, and a fish named Skyy.
