Dr. Rusnak joined Mayfair Animal Hospital in 1989 as an associate veterinarian. She is a lifelong resident of Wake County.Dr. Rusnak earned her Bachelor of Science in Zoology and Wildlife Conservation from NC State University in 1982, going on to receive her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from NCSU in 1988. She is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, North Carolina Veterinary Medical Association, and the American Animal Hospital Association.
Dr. Rusnak loves working at Mayfair because of the “awesome people” she works with and because of her tremendous love of dogs. She lives in Cary with her husband, two children and their two mixed-breed dogs, Angel and Rover. In her spare time, Dr. Rusnak enjoys running, hiking, traveling and learning to speak Hungarian.
